1. Let It Go - Frozen

“Let it go, let me go”

When the market falls, people hold.

Similarly, when the market goes up, people hold too.

Sounds like somebody we know?

That’s when the classic line that has gone on for decades comes in, what’s not yours will never be yours. There is a thin line between no sense of when to let go and not willing to let go at all.

Just like all the toxic relationships in the world, know when to cut things off.  Holding it just a little longer doesn’t always work.

Stop trying to fix the broken glass and consult the professionals.

2. Colors Of The Wind - Pocahontas

It’s always a matter of perspective in life. There are always two sides to a coin.

We tend to like people similar to ourselves. This might result in ‘closed-group’ herd mentality. This is especially dangerous in life, as well as the financial markets. Just because 1 voice is louder doesn’t mean it is right.

It will be useful to hear opposing views out; with the intent to look for merits within their arguments. We might learn things that we haven’t considered before.

“I think it’s impossible to really understand somebody, what they want, what they believe, and not love them the way they love themselves”- Orson Scott Card, Ender’s Game

3. You’ve Got A Friend In Me - Toystory

“You got a friend in me”

So where to invest? When is the right time to invest? How to invest? Look for a professional, and make em your friend!

In the world of investments, leave it to the professionals. It is what they do, study, and research on a daily basis. Regardless of market conditions, go seek out their views and insights on the various asset classes.

And just like Buzz to Woody, I’m sure they will see you through all events together.

Whats your favourite song and how does it resonate with you?
